Well, today’s inspiration for the Friday Five was one of my sophomore boys. My students had a few extra minutes in the computer lab earlier this week and they could look at news or election sites. One of them found (and was really enjoying) this budget simulation from American Public Media. This simulation gives you the opportunity to, “experience a glimpse of what it must be like to manage the budget of the United States. Choose from myriads of tax cuts, increases and various policy changes and see how it impacts this country’s financial picture in the next 10 years.”
With all of the upheaval in the markets, the bailout/rescue package and so much campaigning focusing on the economy, take five and see what you would do if put in the driver’s seat!
