I am excited to give PrimaryAccess a try. Since what seems to be the demise of RemixAmerica, I have been looking for an online replacement for a web-based movie making tool and I am quite hopeful as I continue to explore it.
PrimaryAccess is from the University of Virginia and its goal is to provide K-12 classrooms a, “suite of free online tools that allows students and teachers to use primary source documents to complete meaningful and compelling learning activities with digital movies, storyboards, rebus stories and other online tools.”
The rebus stories look like they will be great for literacy, the movies and storyboards look user-friendly, and the University of Virginia will support it so hopefully it will stick around for a while…
