It is getting closer: the 2010 K12 Online Conference is firing up with the 2010 call for proposals. This year’s conference theme is “Cultivating the Future.” The K12 Online Conference is a free, online conference for educators around the world interested in the use of web 2.0 tools in classrooms and professional practice. Even if you choose not to submit a proposal (though being involved is a lot of fun and I highly recommend it), I hope you are able to participate in/”attend” the conference itself. This year’s conference is scheduled for October 18-22 and October 25-29 of 2010, with a pre-conference keynote the week of October 11. The conference has four topic strands, two per week, and new presentations (usually about 20 min. in length each) are posted to the conference site each day as audio and/or video files. Past conferences are also available in the conference archives.
